it’s anais without an E

have you heard of the anaïs anaïs perfume back in the 70s? Yup, that’s where my name was derived from, a French name that means “grace” or “gracious.” I am currently a nursing student, and despite the hustle and bustle of ever-changing life, I still make time to do what I’ve loved most since I was a kid: writing. I’ve collected anecdotes and quotes throughout my life, and I never truly stopped writing even after moving to the U.S.

I love the stars and find myself constantly drawn to the vastness of the universe. An introvert and an old soul, I may seem underwhelming at times, but I’ve learned that it’s in the mundane where we often appreciate life most.

I am someone who thinks deeply and feels intensely, yet I move through life sometimes loudly but a lot of times quietly. Writing has always been my way of understanding the world, processing emotions, passion for life and faith, especially as I navigate uncertainties as I go along. I love genuine things and deep talks will never bore me.

Tifa as my spirit animal

Like her, I’m not as strong as I seem, but her heart-led approach speaks a lot to me. Being emotional is a strength, not a weakness.
