have you heard of the anaïs anaïs perfume back in the 70s? Yup, that’s where I was named. Although derived from a french name that means “grace” or “gracious”.
I am currently a nursing student, and despite the hustle and bustle of my daily life, I still make time to do what I’ve loved most since I was a kid: writing. I’ve collected anecdotes and quotes throughout my life, and I never truly stopped writing even after moving to the U.S.
I love the stars and find myself constantly drawn to the vastness of the universe. An introvert and an old soul, I may seem underwhelming at times but I’ve learned that it’s in the mundane where we often thrive the most.

I am someone who thinks deeply and feels intensely, yet I move through life sometimes loudly but a lot of times quietly. The thing about me is that I’m highly reflective about my surroundings and my own doing, curious about life, and emotionally observant often noticing patterns, meanings, and small details others tend to overlook. Writing has always been my way of understanding the world, of processing emotions, distance, faith, and life, especially as I navigate uncertainties. I’m drawn to nature, night skies, and stillness and chaos of life as a whole.
